Umeå municipality gave notice 1998 about a architechture competition of how the area "Dragonfältet" in Umeå should be designed.

Three weeks before the result of the competition were to be announced, VRlab got the task to create a virtual environment from the sketches winning contribution.

The model was presented for the press at the public presentation of the result of the comptetition.
